DFM ON THE PODIUM IN THE RANKING OF THE FAMILY BUSINESS FORUM 2022

As a company, we have been awarded in the ranking of the Family Business Forum 2022, in the category of companies with revenues over PLN 100 million in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship.  This competition has been organized since 2018 by Bank Milenium and Forebes magazine and aims to distinguish the most valuable family businesses in Poland, which, despite various economic, pandemic or social difficulties, still exist, employ employees, spread their wings and make a huge contribution to the development of the Polish economy.

SMALL STEPS LEAD TO BIG CHANGES – DFM FOR THE CLIMATE

The DFM company, aware of environmental changes, regularly introduces modification in the production process that have a positive impact on the climate. By ensuring that our activities leave as little carbon footprint as possible, we modernize our machinery park and support environmental activities. This year, DFM became a member of the Climate Pact for the furniture industry, thanks to meeting strict CO₂ emission standards. The Klimapakt für Möbelindustrie certificate which DFM received means that the greenhouse gas emissions related to its operations are within the applicable standards. Whereas, the Klimaneutraler Möbelhersteller certificate confirms that DFM is a climate-neutral furniture manufacturer.

DFM WINNER OF THE GOOD FIRMA 2021 COMPETITION

The DFM company is among the elite group of winners of the Good Company competition organized by the Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers.

Winning the title of EMPLOYER OF THE YEAR 2021 is a great honor and a great distinction  for us. We are very pleased to be awarded in the category which concerns the human factor. We believe that no machine, even the most modern one, can replace a good worker. Therefore, as an employer, we make every effort to ensure the best working conditions at every level of our company.

RELIABILITY, QUALITY, ECOLOGY

What makes our furniture safe for health and does not cause allergies?  We use only high-quality, water-based varnishes and stains to painting them.

These are preparations in which water was used as a diluent. Their greatest advantage is that they are non-toxic, it means they do not contain harmful chemicals that could have a negative impact on health. Water-based varnishes are completely safe even for the most sensitive people and do not pose a threat to allergy sufferers.

In addition to being environmental friendly, non-toxic and fully safe for people, varnishes are very resistant to abrasion. It makes, the users receive a beautiful, safe and solid piece of furniture that they can enjoy for many years.

 In the following year, the livingroom brand under which DFM sells furniture in Poland, has been awarded again the GOOD BRAND Quality, Trust, Reputation mark, in the upholstered furniture category.

What does that mean for us? Above all, our work is appreciated by a wide range of customers. We are very pleased despite the hard year, we managed to gain the trust of new customers and keep it with those who have known our brand for years. It also proves that the direction we have taken as a brand is on the right track – Care for the quality of our furniture, high level of service and a wide offer constitute the foundation of our work, and this translates into the awards we have won.

Most importantly, this award encourages us to make even greater efforts to improve our products so the furniture we produce is not only beautiful, but also very functional.

FURNITURE MADE WITH CARE FOR YOUR HEALTH

The fact that we create furniture with great care and attention to its every element has already been convinced by all these years of DFM’s existence. Today we would like to show another aspect of our production. It is care for the environment, our surroundings and, above all, the health protection of our furniture users. The result of our activities is the highest class – A – on the pollutant emission label. This means that our furniture meets the highest requirements and it is not harmful to health, does not exceed the critical threshold values for alkanes, esters, terpenes, hydrocarbons and ketones. Our furniture does not contain freon, heavy metals, flame retardants and other biocides. The emissions label was developed by the German association Deutsche Gütegemeinschaft Möbel -DGM, which monitor the quality of furniture on the market. The classification is proven based on relevant pollutant tests carried out by responsible laboratories and reports from independent research institutes.

When you will once again rest on our furniture, not only enjoy its great comfort, but also breathe fully breast being aware of the safety of your health.

CARING FOR ABSOLUTE COMFORT

We are appreciated by German furniture users for the attention to details, the possibility of choice and incredible comfort.

An article was published in the Möbelmarkt magazine where were presented our wide range of furniture perfectly suited to the various customers tastes, preferences and needs. Thanks to a wide selection of options, such as: the type of upholstery (fabric or natural leather), functions or furniture arrangement, every customer is aware that they can choose a sofa perfectly “tailored” to their needs.

IMM COLOGNE FAIR IS ALREADY BEHIND US

Lots of meetings, interesting contacts and great sales in such a few words you can describe the participation of DFM at the largest furniture fair in Europe.

In 13-19th of January we presented our latest collection of lounge furniture. We showed modern design combined with amazing comfort and the highest quality. Furniture made of bottles proved to be a great success. This is our answer to the ubiquitous problem of polluting the world with tons of plastic. We offer customers upholstery made of 100% recycled PET bottles. The fabric is not different from traditional upholstery materials in appearance, touch and durability and using recycled PET reduces the environmental impact of the yarn production by lower energy consumption up to 70%, water consumption – up to 86% and CO₂ emissions – up to 76% ( data from GRS studies). We are very proud of this project because we know how important is taking care of the environment. And the fact that interest of the wide range of “woven bottles” fabrics during fair was enormous confirms that our customers are also not indifferent to this problem.

Over 120,000 businesses from 33 countries qualified for the first stage. 2753 companies selected on the “Ones to Watch” list (business excellence) – the second stage. Finally, after the stormy deliberations of independent judges, including business leaders, politicians and scientists, we were awarded  the title of Business of the Year 2019 for companies with a turnover of € 26-150 million.

And that is what Adrian Tripp, CEO of European Business Awards says: DFM is an outstanding leader in its field. It shows great innovation, ethics and success. DFM Is one of the best companies in Europe.

The competition, which primary purpose is to support the development of a stronger and more successful business community throughout Europe, has been organized for the twelfth time. We are glad that we took part in such a prestigious competition and we could prove that we are a strong and solid Polish company.

GOLDEN M – CONFIRMS THE HIGHEST QUALITY OF FURNITURE PRODUCED IN DFM

The Golden M certificate is awarded by the German Association Deutsche Gütegemeinschaft Möbel – DGM, which plays an important role as the RAL Quality Association – protecting the quality of furniture and increasing consumer protection. It is awarded to products of higher than average quality – both in terms of environmental protection and user’s health. The criteria for signing are very strict and only a few companies can be proud of the Golden M.

This year after tests, numerous qualitative research, functionality and durability of furniture and several audits, we received a certificate of the highest importance. It is the culmination of our hard work on striving to maintain the best quality in all stages of product creation. This mark confirms that our furniture: guarantees safety, high quality, does not endanger the user’s health and is environmentally friendly. Our furniture is for Golden M!

This is how the German media describes us in the Möbelmarkt magazine. In addition, they rank us among the most modern plants in Europe, because we have the latest technology equipment. Thanks to production processes based on the Lean Production principle in combination with industry 4.0 we are a reliable and honest partner and producer with the highest standard of its products. Our passion for creating furniture helps us to make products with an innovative design perfectly suited to global trends and customer expectations.

STANDOUT HONORARY DISTINCTION. IMM COLOGNE 2019

After the fair in Cologne, we received an honorary distinction in the competition for stands, which improve the standards of architecture and design in the exhibition industry. The plebiscite was aimed to promote Polish companies that stand out at the largest trade fairs in Poland and around the world. It was carried out for the 67th time by the Exspace.pl portal. We are very happy with the award and we are pleased that our stand was pleased by many visitors.

THE OLYMPIC CHAMPION IN DFM

In our modest, company’s thresholds, we hosted the former volleyball player of the Brazilian national team Gilberto Amauri de Godoy Filho called by all Giba.

During a few-hour visit, we showed our guest a production plant in Dobre Miasto. We went through all departments to present the specifics of work in the furniture industry. We also had some time for interviews and meetings with employees.

Giba was impressed by the size of the plant. His professional equipment and very friendly atmosphere throughout the company. As a souvenir we received balls with his signature.

WE PRESENTED OUR NEW PRODUCTS IN IMM COLOGNE

At one of the largest furniture fairs that took place in Cologne on 14-19.01.2019 we showed our latest designs and collections of upholstered furniture. The visitors had a great opportunity to know us and, above all, our furniture, their functions, beauty and convenience.

Thank you very much for visiting our stand. We are glad that our furniture has aroused great interest. We were happy to hear from the visitors a lot of positive opinions about our chairs with the relax  function and a lot of flattering words about great design and high quality of all upholstered furniture. We hope that our products will permanently stay in your hearts and, of course, in homes.

These are companies that have a significant impact on future economic growth, are innovative and create new workplaces in their market.
